Tacq — Child Safety Standards
Tacq is a communication app operated by the Tacq Team. We are committed to preventing child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) on our platform. This document sets out our standards against CSAE, as required by Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy, and applies to everyone who uses Tacq.
1. Zero Tolerance for CSAE
Tacq strictly prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation of any kind. This includes, without limitation:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — any content that depicts or promotes the sexual abuse of a minor.
- Grooming, solicitation, sextortion, or any attempt to sexualize a minor.
- Trafficking, endangerment, or any other exploitation of a child.
Violating these standards results in immediate removal of the content, a permanent ban of the account (Master ID), and, where required by law, a report to the relevant authorities.
2. We Are Not a Random / Anonymous Stranger Chat
Tacq does not match strangers randomly. Every connection is initiated by the user — through a QR code or a personal invitation to a specific person or organization. There is no “random chat” or “meet a stranger” feature. This design reduces the risk of unsolicited contact with minors.
3. How to Report
You can report abuse without leaving the app:
- In-app “Report”: open the menu on a message or a conversation and choose Report, then select a reason (including Danger to a child). You can report and block a user in the same step.
- By email: write to support@tacq.app with the details.
Reports flagged as child safety are prioritized and reviewed by our moderation team.
4. How We Respond
When we obtain knowledge of CSAE, we act in accordance with these standards and applicable law: we remove the content, ban the account, preserve the necessary evidence, and report CSAM to the appropriate authorities (for example, the U.S. National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, NCMEC, and/or local authorities where applicable).
5. Protecting Minors
Tacq is intended for users aged 13 and above; anyone under 13 cannot create an account or use the app. On first launch we ask only for an age group (never a date of birth) so that we can apply the right protections. Communication content available to a minor's account is kept on a moderated channel so that we can act on reports. Private end-to-end encrypted modes are an adult feature and are not available to accounts identified as belonging to a minor.
6. Compliance with Law
We comply with applicable child safety laws and regulations in the jurisdictions where Tacq is available.
7. Point of Contact
Child safety point of contact: support@tacq.app. This contact is able to speak to our enforcement and review procedures and to receive notifications from Google Play about potential CSAE on our platform.
